------------------ ... make no sense to me. I think, not a lot Prowlers are daily drivers, who run a hard top. Evens with a hard top, its getting complicated. To me, on a Prowler less is more. For more comfort, I choose the SSR. -- ------------------ Install a retractable hard top like you see on the Pontiac G6 or some of the Mercedes Benz two door convertible/coupes. There would probably be enough room under the rear deck lid if you JUST REMOVE the gas tank. It would look really cool but you would then have a "Runsoly" (Runs only when you push it) no front fenders LOTS OF FUN!!! This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 04-26-2009 at 01:17 PM I love it! Dougtomnafaire Anyone ever installed an electric retractable moon roof in a hard top? Would be a nice modification! catfish not to my knowledge, and not enough room for the complete assemly to work.cut a hole in yours and be the first. tomnafaire Yes, headroom would be a problem. Too bad...would be nice. condor --
My friend has one, he had it on ,on our past long distance trip.
The weather was getting realy nice and hot. He cold not store it in the hotelroom, so they put it in a hotel bicyle storage room, were it got some small scatches.
On the next day cruise to another destionation trough the alps, I could enjoy a nice mountain view, wile driving "open", he ... had the to carry hard top . . . ., and a sunroof in the top would not help a lot...
I like the Prowler, because its so uncomplicated. No power top, no complicated audio system, no electronic chassis components, itīs more hotrod than up-to-date sportscar.MeanGene Well...retractable moonroof, and portholes (like a '57 T-Bird), and a retractable hardtop...H'mmmm...there's no place like home...there's no place like home Come back Dorothy. catfish condor,c'mon what do you mean uncomplicated, its got 17 computers and modules on it?must be the foreign ones made in stuttgart. alrtg Here is a thought.... Marty Usher I agree with "less is more"
